The IFLA Section for Scholarly Communication

Scholarly Communication - the creation and dissemination of research and learning for current and future generations - is the backbone of scholarship.

In a digital age, the potential growth of scholarly communication globally is breathtaking.  Yet, we succeed in this only if we work together.  Through the work of this section, IFLA supports and advances scholarly communication and all those who practice it or benefit from it.

This section aims to meet this challenge in three ways:

1) Share - thoughts, ideas and questions

2) Collect - resources created or used by the community

3) Promote - solutions and best practices
