Description

The project focused on the digitisation of selected microfilms of Polish Jewish newspapers from the collections of the National Library of Poland and making the materials avialiable via National Library of Israel site: NLI Historical Jewish Press (www.jpress.org.il).

The project also included the post-processing of the images, segmentation, OCR and providing output formats, and hosting digitized materials on the above mentioned site.
