Women in Open Technology and Culture: Information for Attendees and Speakers
Attendees & Speakers,
August 11th is approaching quickly and we’re very excited to share program we have put together for “UnConference, Women in Open Technology & Culture.”
We encourage you to share information about the event! If you do so, please use our Event link, which includes information about the event and a link to the above registration form.
Northwestern University Libraries will be hosting a reception for all attendees and speakers at 6pm on August 10th. Specific details on the location of this event are forthcoming. We expect this will be a great opportunity for attendees to get to know each other before a full day of activities and hope you can attend.
In addition, you will find below a formal invitation from the Center for Research Libraries. If you’d like to schedule a visit, please reach out to them at the address provided.
Librarians attending IFLA Satellite Meetings in the Chicago area are cordially invited to consider including a visit the Center for Research Libraries facility on the south side of Chicago, near the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park, at 6050 South Kenwood Avenue. If you would like to visit we ask that you contact us to indicate a particular time, at events@CRL.edu.
CRL is an international consortium of university, college, and independent research libraries supporting original research and inspired teaching in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. CRL preserves and makes available a wealth of critical primary source materials from all world regions. A visit to CRL will give insights into the range of resources represented in our collection of more than five million books, journals, documents and newspapers, along with programs that support cooperative collection development, informed investment in eResources, and sustained access to print and digital collections.
We look forward to having you join us for this exciting event! Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
All the best,
