Pre-registration is now available for a one-day, off-site workshop in Columbus: Worth a Thousand Words: A Global Perspective on Image Description, Discovery, and Access.

The workshop takes place on Monday, 15 August 2016, at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum on the campus of Ohio State University and is sponsored by the Rare Books and Special Collections Section and the Art Libraries Section. (map, parking, bus service)

The workshop is free. Although there is no formal registration to attend this all-day workshop, and it is possible simply to attend on the day, it will help our hosts to have an idea of how many people will be attending.  Please follow the link below to pre-register by Thursday, 11 August or sign up in person at the IFLA secretariat on Saturday, 13 August.

Lunch will be provided for attendees, with priority given to those who have pre-registered. In the unlikely event that we cannot accommodate everyone, directions will be provided to nearby lunch places for other attendees.
