During 2009, IFLA language centres around the world have been busy with a major translation project. Using funds provided by the Swedish International Co-operation and Development Agency (Sida), IFLA’s FAIFE Committee has co-ordinated translations of the following policy documents and training manuals:

This major project could not have been completed without the hard work of the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, and the language centres in Russia, Egypt and Senegal, along with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). All of the original documents have been redesigned in a PDF format, and are available to download for free from the IFLA website in the following languages:
