Digital Inclusion: Bridging the information gap for people with disabilities
27 November 2023Digital technology is becoming indispensable to everyday life and participation in society (EuroDIG Forum, 2023). Work, schooling, commerce, banking, and government services all increasingly have digital components or may even be conducted entirely online. Digital inclusion is a crucial aspect of modern society that cannot be ignored. With the rapid advancement of technology, there is a growing need to ensure that everyone has equal access to online or digital resources and information. Library Services to People with Special Needs Call for Papers for WLIC in Dublin
23 February 2020Theme: A New Home: Library Services to Refugees, Immigrants, Migrants, and Asylum Seekers. The Library Services to People with Special Needs (LSN) Section is developing Guidelines on Library Services to Refugees, Immigrants, Migrants and Asylum Seekers. We have already completed a survey on library services to this target group and the results of this survey will also be presented at this program.

Survey on library programmes and services for people who are deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind (February 10th until March 31st 2018) EXTENDED DEADLINE UNTIL APRIL 30TH 2018!
15 February 2018For the purpose of writing new guidelines a survey is beeing conducted in order to gather examples of modern day practice in the organization of library programmes and services that meet needs of people who are deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind. The survey is conducted internationally from February 10th to March 31st 2018 - EXTENDED DEADLINE UNTIL APRIL 30TH 2018.
