IFLA’s Governing Board (GB) is responsible for the management of the Federation, as set out in IFLA’s Statutes. The GB meets at least three times a year, and is advised by the Professional Council, the Regional Council, and five Advisory Committees.
IFLA President Vicki McDonald will represent the Federation at the official launch of Strasbourg as World Book Capital City 2024. She will participate in a busy programme of celebrations and events across the city, and engage with local librarians.
