IFLA and EIFL Public Library Innovation Program (EIFL-PLIP) will conduct a workshop titled ‘Libraries are great? Prove it! Data and evidence-based storytelling’ for the Occupy Library Innovators Hub project.
The workshop will be led by Ugne Lipeikaite, EIFL-PLIP Impact Manager, and Kristine Paberza-Ramiresa, IFLA Member Engagement Officer. They will discuss what service-related data public libraries should collect and how to use the data to tell compelling stories.
The Occupy Library Innovators Hub project aims to explore and showcase innovative ideas among public libraries in the Central, Eastern European, Black Sea, Caucasus, and Caspian regions. It provides a space for sharing good practices in implementing public library services and for supporting libraries to become more involved in their communities.
It is organised by Progress Foundation (Romania) in partnership with Сentre for Cultural Management (Ukraine), Ukrainian Library Association, EduAct (Greece), Library Association of Moldova, National Library of Moldova, Ashoka România and National Library of Romania in the framework of the ‘Black Sea NGO Forum Sub-granting Scheme For Activities That Support The Development Of CSO Regional Networks’, within the project ‘Building CSO Capacity for Regional Cooperation within the Black Sea Region’, implemented by the Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND with the financial support of the European Union.
